Asia Argento
Italian actress Asia Argento, previously convicted of seducing a teenage actor, accused the director of the first part of “Fast and the Furious” and the action film “Three X's” Rob Cohen of rape. She confirmed this in an interview with Variety.
According to the artist, this happened during the filming of the movie Three X's in 2002. Then Cohen gave her a drink containing the substance GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyric acid, depressing the nervous system), after which she fell into unconsciousness. “I woke up in the morning naked in his bed,” – said Argento.
She added that she detailed the incident in her autobiography, Anatomy of a Wild Heart, which will go on sale in Italy on January 26. It is noted that previously Argento did not report the rape. The actress decided to tell about everything only after Cohen was accused by several more victims.
In February 2019, Rob Cohen was faced with similar charges by his transgender daughter, who claimed that he molested her when she was still a boy. In September of the same year, it became known about another anonymous victim of sexual violence by the director of “Fast and the Furious”.
Asia Argento is one of the first actresses to claim in 2017 that she was raped by Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. In 2018, she was accused of sexually assaulting a minor American actor Jimmy Bennett.
