Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the tests of the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile are scheduled for completion in 2021.
“This year it is planned to complete tests of the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile. This complex is supposed to equip nuclear submarines and surface ships of the far sea zone, ”TASS quoted Shoigu as saying.
Earlier it was reported that a chain of hypersonic systems is being developed in Russia, which will become the development of Avangard, Zircon and Dagger.
