The world number one Novak Djokovic has canceled participation in the Tennis Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.
The Serb gave no reasons for the waiver on Wednesday. The tournament in California, which the 34-year-old has already won five times, starts in a week. Djokovic had lost to the Russian Daniil Medvedev in the US Open final in mid-September and thus missed the calendar grand slam.
