Telegram will allow data transfer from other applications
The Telegram messenger will be able to export data from other applications, including its own solutions for other developers. This was announced by its founder Pavel Durov, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier in Telegram, it became possible to export chats from other messengers: for example, you can transfer the history of correspondence from What'sApp, Line or KakaoTalk.
According to Durov, this will allow users to save disk space and not worry about backups or changing devices.
Durov also noted that Telegram will provide APIs (programming interfaces) to third-party developers who want to create tools for importing messages into the messenger.
