Several dozen people were detained at an unauthorized protest action in the Belarusian Lida. RIA Novosti informs about this with reference to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno region.
The department reported that “several dozen people were detained in Lida within the framework of the administrative process.”
“The employees used a special device – tear gas. There are no casualties, ”the police said.
Earlier it was reported that a march of supporters of the Belarusian opposition was taking place in Minsk; it started on Freedom Square in the city center.
The Minsk metro announced the suspension of 12 stations.
