Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto considers a Formula 1 future for Mick Schumacher at the traditional Scuderia to be possible. However, the 22-year-old German has to gain more experience this season and next, before this could possibly become an issue from 2023 at the earliest.
“Before we decide when he is ready for Ferrari, he has to end this year – without pressure, we don't have to put pressure on him, that would be wrong. He should learn as I said,” said Binotto at RTL / ntv. If Schumacher develops positively, a change to Ferrari is already possible in one and a half years.
