Another teacher in the US is in trouble after she was accused of having sex with a student. This time, an adult woman gave birth to a baby boy from a 13-year-old boy who reportedly lived with her for many years.

Former South Jersey teacher Lauri Caron is facing multiple charges after the victim's father “discovered” that Caron's baby was his teenage son's. According to investigators, the father even wrote a Facebook post in December 2024 claiming that Karon's five-year-old child looked just like him and his son.
Karon was arrested on January 15 and charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The alleged crimes occurred between 2016 and 2020 at the suspect's home. Police say the victim was 13 years old and the student was living with the 28-year-old teacher when their child was born in 2019.
Police added that Karon taught the victim and his brother in the 5th grade, and that over the years she became friends with the boy's family, eventually allowing the brothers and their sister to sleep over at her home. Court documents showed that the visits began with one or two nights a week, and eventually led to the children staying with Karon full-time from 2016 to 2020.
The boy began sleeping in the same bed with Karon when he was 11, his sister told police. She added that the children slept in a shared room on another floor, but every morning her brother would end up in the teacher's bed. She also claimed that Karon would go to the bathroom and close it when her brother was there.
The teenager himself told his sister in a text message that he is the father of Karon's five-year-old child, but she must keep it a secret, according to documents.
The 13-year-old's brother told police he allegedly saw Karon sexually assault his brother while he thought she was sleeping.
Police say the boy admitted during questioning that he had sexual relations with his teacher and that he was the father of her child. He continued to contact Karon before his father posted the message on Facebook.
Karon is being held at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Recall that in December in the US, a former teacher who had sexual relations with five students and gave birth to a child from one of them learned her fate after she was sentenced in court. She was forbidden to see the baby.
