She was forbidden to see the baby.
In the US, a former teacher who had sexual relations with five students and gave birth to a child from one of them learned her fate after she was sentenced in court.
About The Daily Star reports.
Alyssa McCommon, accused of raping a 12-year-old boy and impregnating him, has pleaded guilty to several felony charges. They include rape of a child, two counts of rape by a public official, three counts of aggravated rape, three counts of electronic sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of solicitation of a minor: aggravated rape, and one count of violating the Child Protection Act.
Police say the charges involve five victims, but add that former Tennessee teacher McCommon may have had as many as 21 victims. Alyssa, 38, who was a fifth-grade teacher before being fired, was sentenced by Judge Blake Neal to 25 years in prison without parole. Judge Neill also told McCommon that she had “no contact with the minor child.”
The New York Post reports that she will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life and is prohibited from having contact with her victims.
She reportedly called one of her victims more than 200 times and befriended the mothers of her students, even playing video games with one of them and sending him explicit photos on Snapchat. She allegedly told the boy she was pregnant with his child and threatened to kill herself if he did not continue their illicit relationship.
The mother of the 12-year-old victim told McCommon in court: “I loved you like my own, I opened my door to you. You used our friendship to hurt me and the people I love in this world, took my pre-pubescent son's innocence, took what should have been a great experience and tainted it. Your mind is sick and twisted because you look at a child and get turned on.”
Recall that in Volyn, a 25-year-old lyceum teacher is suspected of corrupting a schoolboy. The question of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect is being decided.
