“The ceremony of signing the acceptance certificate of Kazan and hoisting the Andreevsky flag on it will take place approximately on May 7,” the agency's source said. According to him, at the end of April, the submarine completed a checkout to the sea.
The nuclear submarine was built at Sevmash. She was launched in 2017. The timing of its transfer to the Navy was repeatedly postponed. Project 885 Yasen nuclear submarines have a displacement of 13,800 tons, a diving depth of 520 meters, a crew of 64 people, an autonomy of 100 days, an underwater speed of 31 knots. The submarine should be part of the Northern Fleet.
