Tanks, artillery, missiles: Britain provides additional military aid worth more than $180 million

Britain will spend £4.5 billion this year to support Ukraine, more than ever before.

The UK will provide Ukraine with an additional £150 million (over $180 million) military aid package, which will include tanks, artillery and missiles.

This was announced by British Defence Secretary John Healey at the start of a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence (Ramstein format) in Brussels, which was broadcast by Sky News.

“Today I have announced an extra £150 million for new firepower – tanks, artillery, air-to-air missiles, as well as new contracts to repair critical equipment in Ukraine,” the head of the British Defence Ministry said.

According to him, Britain will spend £4.5 billion this year to support Ukraine – more than ever before. By the end of March, Britain and its allies will supply Ukraine with 10,000 drones.

John Healey stressed that this war was never about the fate of the Ukrainian nation alone, as China, Iran and North Korea watch for any signs of weakness in anticipation of the international coalition's resolve fading and unity collapsing.

“When aggression goes unanswered on one continent, it emboldens regimes on others. “When one country’s border is redrawn by force, it undermines the security of all nations,” said the British minister who chaired this “Ramstein.”

Recall that US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said at NATO headquarters in Brussels that Ukraine’s return to its borders by 2014 is an unrealistic goal.
