Taliban closes public baths and saunas to combat “propaganda of prostitution”

Taliban officials (a terrorist organization banned in Russia ) in the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif ordered the closure of all baths, saunas and swimming pools under the pretext of fighting “propaganda of prostitution.” Writes about this Etilaatroz.
According to the newspaper, only men's baths with separate rooms were allowed to work, women's baths were completely closed in the city. The owner of one of the men's baths also said that the Taliban had threatened to punish them if public baths were opened.
The owner of one of the women's baths told how the Taliban came to her establishment demanding that the women be removed immediately. “When we forbid women to appear in public, can they really go to the bathhouse?” – said one of the members of the radical group.
Earlier, Taliban officials in the Mukur district of Ghazni province prohibited doctors from treating sick women, who were escorted to hospital by a female relative instead of a mahram (male relative). The Taliban Leadership and Recruitment Commission issued a statement emphasizing the illegality and immorality of women seeking medical treatment at random and requiring medical personnel to refrain from helping such patients.
