Taiwan warns that China is studying the experience of the war in Ukraine launched Russia, led by Putin, to develop its own strategy of “hybrid war” against Taiwan.
Taiwan National Security Bureau General Director Chen Ming-Tong believes that China's development of its own “hybrid warfare” strategy against Taiwan will include the use of drones and psychological pressure.
Chen Ming-Tong made such a statement during a speech in the Taiwanese parliament, Reuters reports.
In turn, Taiwan, according to him, is carefully studying the lessons of war in Ukraine to properly respond if China uses force against them.
“This year, the communist military adopted the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war in order to develop a “hybrid war” against Taiwan and strengthen their combat training,” Chen said.
He recalled that China, whose leadership considers the island its territory, after the August exercises expanded the “grey zone” and hybrid activities against Taiwan, especially with the use of drones.
Taiwan is convinced that the military campaign China's “gray zone” provides for irregular tactics of attrition of the enemy without resorting to open combat, such as flying into Taiwan's air defense zone and forcing Taiwan's air force to activate.
