One Syrian soldier was killed, five were injured in an attack by the Israeli army on the Syrian air defense. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, TASS reports.
According to the agency, four Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked targets in the area of the village of Kiswa in the province of Damascus. Later, the Israeli army launched 10 more strikes. “One Syrian soldier was killed and five wounded,” said Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry spoke about the Israeli air strike on the Syrian province of Damascus around two in the morning on February 9. “At around 2 a.m. Moscow time on February 9, four tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force F-16, without crossing the state border of Syria, launched a guided missile attack on targets in the area of the village of Kiswa in the province of Damascus,” the statement said.
