Syrian militants tried to shoot down a Russian aircraft

In Syria, gunmen fired at a Russian aircraft. This was reported by the Voenkory Russian Spring Telegram channel.

The incident took place on the border of zones controlled by government forces and bandit formations. An anonymous source clarified that two missiles were fired from the area of the Turkish observation post in the Majdalaya area in the Idlib de-escalation zone.
