Syrian army reports missile attack near Damascus

The Syrian army repelled a missile attack near Damascus. SANA agency reports.

According to the newspaper, the missiles were fired by the Israeli military from the Golan Heights. The attacks fell on “some targets” in the vicinity of Damascus, but most of the shells were intercepted by Syrian air defenses.

The Israeli army declined to comment on reports in foreign media, RIA Novosti reports.

The previous attack was reported on February 15th. Then the air defense systems of Syria also repelled the Israeli strike and shot down most of the missiles in the sky over Damascus
