Syrian air defenses repel a missile attack in the skies over Damascus

The Syrian Air Defense Forces (ADF) repelled a missile attack in the skies over Damascus late on February 28. It was reported by the Syrian Arab news agency SANA.

It is noted that the strikes were inflicted by Israel from the Golan Heights.

“The Syrian anti-aircraft gunners repelled the attack in the sky of Damascus and hit most of the missiles,” a military source told the publication.

Earlier, the site kp.ru wrote that on the night of January 7, Syria's air defense systems repelled a missile attack in the sky over the southern regions of Damascus. Then, from the SANA data, it was known that strikes on ground targets of the country's government army were inflicted by the Israeli Air Force, most of the air targets were shot down, as a result of which they did not achieve their goals.
