Terrorists attacked three regular buses and a convoy of fuel tankers in the Syrian province of Hama, killing nine people and injuring four. This updated information about the incident was provided by the governor of Hama, Mohammad Krishtat. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the head of the province of the Syrian state television and radio company, the attack took place on Sunday, January 3, at 21.30. All people were evacuated, the wounded were taken to a hospital in the city of Salamia. The terrorists used small arms during the attack, Krishtati added.
As previously reported by the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan, citing a military source, the incident took place on the Salamiyya-Raqqa highway near the settlement of Wadi Uzeyb. The Syrian military stationed there engaged in a battle with terrorists, because of which the route was blocked.
