The Swiss government is relaxing the restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 from March 1.
This is stated on the website of the country's government.
To resume economic activity in the country, it is planned to open shops, museums and libraries, as well as allow people to enter sports facilities and allow groups of up to 15 people to gather on the street.
“Shops, museums and library reading rooms are due to reopen from March 1, as are the open areas of zoos and botanical gardens, as well as sports and entertainment facilities. Private events with a maximum of 15 people will again be possible outdoors. Young people under the age of 18 should regain access to most sports and cultural activities, ”the statement said.
It is clarified that the Federal Council will make the final decision on these indulgences on February 24 after consultations with the cantons.
