Switching between windows broke in Windows 10 after the next update

by alex

As part of the August Tuesday patches, Microsoft released a cumulative patch – KB5005033 – with suggested fixes for many issues and bugs. But it turned out that the patch was incorrect.

This manifested itself in the failure of the ALT + TAB key combination – to quickly switch between windows. As many users complain, neither restarting the computer nor other keyboard shortcuts helps.

As the source notes, there is only one solution so far: you need to go to the Windows system updates panel and simply remove the problematic patch, in some cases restart the computer.
