The Swiss woman who had committed a knife attack on two women in a shop in Lugano in the canton of Ticino the day before was known to the police. Earlier, in 2017, she was featured in a terrorism case. The Federal Police Office (FUP) of Switzerland announced this in a post on Twitter.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Swiss prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against a 28-year-old Swiss woman living in Ticinopo, on suspicion of committing a terrorist attack.

A woman attacked two random women with a knife in a Lugano store: one of the intruders grabbed by the neck, and the other stabbed with a cold weapon right in the neck. Both victims were injured but survived.

Meanwhile, the attacker was detained by police officers. According to 20 Minutes, during the attack, the attacker allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar”, although this information was not officially confirmed.
