The medalist of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, swimmer Mykhailo Romanchuk won a bronze medal for Ukraine at the World Championship in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
So, he became the third at a distance of 1500 m in free style on short course (25 meters) and received a bronze medal.
Mikhail Romanchuk showed the result in 14: 11.47 minutes in final swim.
Gold was won by Florian Wellbrock from Germany, who set a world record – 06/14/88.
Silver – Ahmed Hafnawi from Tunisia with a result of 10/14/94 minutes.
A total of 29 swimmers from different countries of the world took part in the competition.
Recall that in the summer of 2020 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, swimmer Romanchuk received silver and gold.
He swam 1500 meters freestyle in 14 minutes 40.66 seconds and finished second in the medal standings.
