A court in Israel will consider the case of a man who tried to spoil his ex-wife's car by smearing it with honey. He also sent hurtful messages to the woman over the phone.
The woman was forced to turn to law enforcement officers by the condition of her car: she found her with broken mirrors, punctured wheels and completely covered with a sticky substance that turned out to be honey.
It didn't take long for the police to look for the attacker – immediately after the attack on the car, the man began to send messages to his ex-wife from his phone:
– I wish you freedom on this holiday so that your new husband will beat you all his life. So that you catch the coronavirus, and that you lie in the hospital in a state between serious and hopeless, and that all the evil that you have done to my family will return to you like a boomerang. Thank God for being rid of you after seven years of genocide.
Honey was not chosen by the vandal by chance: he knew that the ex-wife was severely allergic to this product.
The investigation accused the man of causing damage to the vehicle (according to Israeli law, such an act can be imprisoned for up to five years), as well as threats against the former half.
However, the suspect's father, a retired police major general, claims that there are no threats in his son's messages, but the police officers who presented the indictment are guilty of giving false information. The general took over the defense of his son in court.
