The funds will come from previously announced support packages for Ukraine.

Sweden has decided to allocate 300 million Swedish kronor (about 26 million euros) in indirect support for Ukraine's air defense.

This was reported by press service of the Swedish Ministry of Defense.

The funds will be transferred to Romania so that it can replace the Patriot system it transferred to Ukraine.

“Romania needs funds to be able to purchase Patriot-type shells, sensors and other equipment to replace the systems that the country provided to Ukraine in 2024. Therefore, 300 million are transferred to Romania,” the statement said.

The funds will come from previously announced support packages for Ukraine.

Recall that Zelensky named how many Patriot systems Ukraine needs to make the war meaningless for Putin.
