Police officers and IC investigators have identified two suspects in the murder of 21-year-old Russian footballer Yegor Drobysh in Omsk. This was reported to RIA Novosti in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Omsk region.
“In the shortest possible time, the identity was established. On January 30, with the forceful support of the SOBR of the Rosgvardia Directorate in the Omsk Region, one of them – 33-year-old Omsk – was detained at his place of residence in the Soviet District, the second – a 30-year-old man – in the apartment of his acquaintances on Kosmicheskiy Avenue, ”the press service of the UMVD said. …
The suspects were detained thanks to CCTV footage and interviews with residents of nearby houses.
“The detainees explained that on the night of January 27, they noticed two guys on the street, returning home from the store. One of the attackers stabbed the 22-year-old victim in the back. During the scuffle, the young people were stabbed, ”the department added.
Now the suspects are in a temporary detention center, the investigators have prepared a petition for their detention.
On January 27, it became known about the murder of Russian footballer Yegor Drobysh. The 21-year-old athlete was walking with a friend from a beer store when they were attacked by an intruder. The midfielder died instantly from a stab in the heart.
Drobysh is a graduate of Omsk “Irtysh”. He played as a defensive midfielder. The footballer made his debut in the main team in 2019 and played three matches for the club.
