Supported by 321 people's deputies: Mykola Solsky appointed as the new Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine

Today, on March 24, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed the Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko and appointed in his place, the head of the agrarian committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Nikolai Solsky.

This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on his Telegram channel.

— They fired Roman Leshchenko from the post of Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine (321) and appointed Mykola Solsky (already ex-chairman of the Agrarian Policy Committee) (294), — he wrote.

Thus, the people's deputies supported the appointment of Solsky with 294 votes. 321 deputies voted for the dismissal of Leshchenko from the post of minister.

Nikolay Solsky headed the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy in the Verkhovna Rada. He is also a co-founder of the group of companies Ukrainian Agrarian Holding. It includes several enterprises in the Chernihiv region.

Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko wrote a resignation statement on March 23, 2022. He has been working in this position since December 2020.
