This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda during a meeting of European leaders at the Elysee Palace, reports Wydarzenia.
“I hope that in the near future we will be able to jointly prepare significant supplies of ammunition for Ukraine,” he said.
Duda also mentioned “one very specific proposal that was submitted.” However, he stressed that he could not disclose details. The Polish leader says that “this is really what Ukraine desperately needs, something that President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed many times recently.”
However, according to him, “there was a heated discussion around the issue of sending military personnel to Ukraine.”
Recall that French President Emmanuel Macron criticized the initiative for a million shells for Ukraine. According to him, such a decision was reckless on the part of the European Union.
