According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid presidents Florentino Perez and Juventus Turin Andrea Agnelli were spotted in Barcelona. According to the newspaper, a meeting with her counterpart at FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, is due. Allegedly it should be about the Super League.
As a reminder: In April, twelve European top clubs presented their plans for a Super League. This would have entered into direct competition with the UEFA Champions League. After the quick withdrawal of the English clubs, the Super League was off the table for the time being – only Real, Barcelona and Juventus stuck to the plans. Various sanctions from UEFA and legal proceedings followed.
Now the three bosses of the remaining clubs obviously want to plan the next step.
