A suicide bomber crashed a car bomb into a military convoy in Pakistan. More than 10 people were killed and dozens were injured.

On June 28, a suicide bomber in a car bomb attacked a military convoy in Pakistan's North Waziristan district.
According to media reports, at least 16 people were killed in the attack. Another 20 or so were wounded , including civilians. Some of them are in serious condition.
Local residents reported seeing a thick column of smoke above the explosion site. Glass was blown out in some houses and roofs collapsed.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial minister said at least eight security personnel were among the dead. The official condemned the attack and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
According to the Indian publication, responsibility for the attack was allegedly claimed by the group of field commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur, which is part of the Pakistani Taliban.
