“Stupid statement”: the Main Intelligence Directorate commented on Putin’s words about Russia’s involvement in the arms race

There is absolutely no prospect of winning economic competition for the backward dictatorial Putin regime.

The West and Europe did not think about arms races, as they say Kremlin head Vladimir Putin. If there was a race, then it was precisely of an economic nature and the nature of economic competition.

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) Andrey Yusov stated this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

We are talking about a statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly. The dictator said that supposedly “the West is trying to drag Russia into an arms race, to repeat the trick from the USSR in the 1980s. The same situation continues.”

“Stupid statement, Russia started the arms race. Today we are faced with the fact that Western countries and the European Union as a whole have not prepared for any arms race. The discussion continues about the need and search for ways to increase the production of our own weapons, in particular artillery shells,” Yusov said.

The representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science emphasized that Russia is a huge country in terms of territory, but if we talk about the economic ratio, it is insignificant compared to the leading economies of the world. However, militarily, the Russian Federation has large reserves of Soviet weapons, as well as reserves of manpower, which is used as consumable material as “cannon fodder”.

“And most importantly – the willingness to kill and wage an aggressive war, unthinkable for the 21st century – these are the trump cards of Putin’s bloody regime. Therefore, it was he who started and is trying to develop this arms race. They don’t pull it out on their own, they are looking for allies. And today it’s the blame the free world and democracies in the desire to portray an arms race is absurd. Nothing new. The absurdity of Russian propaganda and Putin’s statements has not surprised anyone for a long time, “explained Andrei Yusov.

We add that the leaking of spy information to the media could not take place without the permission of the head of the Russian Federation Putin and violates one of the main rules of intelligence, former SBU employee and military expert Ivan Stupak noted earlier.
