The injured woman recalls with horror the moment when they were lying side by side with her daughter right in the mud and cried with fear.
In Wales, an attacker raped a mother right on a bicycle path and tried to do the same with her little daughter. For a crime he received 24 years in prison.

In May of this year, a mother and her children walked along the bike path. First, they walked past the “sleazy stranger” who turned out to be the Defendant Anthony Williams. Then the man followed the family. Before approaching the unnamed woman, the rapist ordered her to stop and undress.
At first, the woman was embarrassed, but then Williams began to threaten that he would harm her children if the woman did not obey him. p>
During the horrific attack, which lasted about 20 minutes, Williams hit the victim and then ordered her to take off her jeans and lie down in the middle of the road. The woman recalls how, before hitting her, Williams asked: “Do you want your children to experience the same?”
After that, the defendant ordered the mother to undress her daughter, otherwise he threatened with violence. When the child was lying face down in the mud, Williams tried to rape him. The woman recalls with horror the moment when she lay side by side with her daughter on the ground and cried with fear.
“I leaned against my daughter and tried to assure her that everything would be fine with her,” she says with horror victim.
The attack stopped only when the girl said that she could no longer breathe. Only after that, the mother and her children finally managed to escape.
According to the court, after that Williams told his neighbor that, apparently, he did something “that could cause trouble.” The defendant initially claimed that the woman herself approached him in the middle of the bike path asking for rough sex.
Later, Williams confessed to his neighbor that he had actually raped the woman. After numerous public appeals from the police in the media regarding information about the incident, the neighbor turned to law enforcement agencies and reported his concerns.
In an interview with police, 43-year-old Anthony Williams admitted that he had problems with alcohol and spent a lot of money on drinking the day before.
First, the court sentenced the rapist to 16 years in prison. But after the disclosure of new facts, Judge Walters said that the accused posed a significant threat to society, so the sentence was extended to 24 years. Additionally, Williams will be on the sex offender registry.
Williams himself convinced the jury that he did not know what came over him. The man said that he did not remember absolutely anything, but he regrets for what he did and for the injury he inflicted on the victims.
The defendant's lawyer noted that his client had admitted his guilt, which could lighten the punishment. The judge replied that then on the track Williams inflicted irreparable harm on the woman and her children, since the greatest fear for a mother is a threat to the life and health of her children.
The woman herself said that these memories will never leave her and called Williams a “disgusting, sick and mean” person.
Anthony Williams had previously been convicted of three charges of attempted rape. The defendant has already had nine convictions for 13 crimes, including burglary, arson and assault.
