A student from New York was arrested for being in an educational institution during distance learning days. It is reported by The Washington Times.
A 17-year-old high school student came to the institution on distance learning days to protest a hybrid form of class, in which some lessons are in the classroom and some at home. For this, the student was suspended from school for five days and received several warnings, but he returned to the school, which led to his arrest for illegal entry.
The school leadership said that if the student continues to disrupt the school's working hours, they will have to transfer all students to a distance learning format.
Earlier it was reported that at least two-thirds of schoolchildren in the UK did not show up for classes after switching to online education due to the outbreak of coronavirus infection. Only 19 percent of public elementary school students, 22 percent of high schools, 51 percent of private elementary school students, and 57 percent of high school seniors have taken part in online learning.
