Russian invaders launched another missile attack on Nikolaev. As a result, a large-scale fire broke out, and the city was in smoke.
The Russian army fired seven guided missiles at Nikolaev at once. This information was confirmed by Mayor Alexander Sinkevich on the air of the United News telethon, Channel 24 reports.
According to him, these missiles hit the territory of two enterprises where fuel and lubricants were stored. That is why a large-scale fire broke out, the smoke from which covered the entire city.
“The whole city is covered in black smoke. It must burn out, because it is impossible to extinguish it,” said Alexander Sinkevich.

According to the State Emergency Service in the Nikolaev region, 17 units of special equipment and 64 firefighters are working at the fire site. In addition, the emergency brigades “Nikolaevvodokanal”, “Nikolayevoblenergo” and “Nikolaevgaz” were involved.
As for the destruction, in addition to these two enterprises, a school and five high-rise buildings were damaged by a missile strike. As well as four private houses. Windows and doors were smashed in them, and the roof was also damaged.
Rescuers also reported that dry grass on a total area of 260 square meters was on fire in two districts after being hit by Russian missiles.
