The Russian Armed Forces will receive the Inokhodets-RU attack unmanned aerial vehicles in 2023, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko told reporters.
The contract for the supply of attack drones between the Ministry of Defense and the Kronstadt company was signed at the Army-2021 international forum.
As the website kp.ru wrote, in February 2021, the manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, JSC Kronstadt, demonstrated to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu the newest unmanned aerial reconnaissance system with a long flight duration with the ability to perform reconnaissance and strike missions, the Pioneer. The development has two engines, a large take-off weight and can carry more payload.
Recall that at the Army-2021 forum, the Russian Defense Ministry signed dozens of contracts with enterprises of the domestic military-industrial complex for the supply of the latest weapons to the Russian Armed Forces.
