In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a man was convicted who strangled his acquaintance in order to take possession of her property worth UAH 828 .
The investigation established that a resident of the city of Sinelnikovo entered the woman's apartment in November 2016. He squeezed her neck with one hand and wrapped duct tape around her face and arms with the other.
The attacker held the victim in this way until death by strangulation . After that, he took possession of the woman's property in UAH 828.
Prior to this, a resident of Dnipropetrovsk region was repeatedly convicted of committing robberies.
The man was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and robbery & # 8212; p. 6 h. 2 tbsp. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and part 4 of Art. 187 UKU. His property was also confiscated.
The Cassation Court agreed with the prosecutor's assertion that the punishment was fair.
