Residents of Kyrgyzstan on the night of April 7 noticed a strange green flash in the sky over Bishkek, the nature of which is still unclear. The video recording of the incident is published by the RT in Russian Telegram channel.
As you can see in the presented frames, the bright green glow is caused by the movement at high speed of an unknown celestial body. She could be observed not only in the Kyrgyz capital, but also in other regions of the country.
As the newspaper “Sputnik Kyrgyzstan” writes with reference to eyewitnesses, the fireball flying over the village of Petrovka made the sky “bright as day”. Local residents compared the incident with frames from science fiction films.
At the same time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan cannot yet say with certainty whether the celestial body was a meteorite, part of a satellite or a rocket. Rescuers began to search, but at the same time they suggested that the car fell outside the country. “There is no destruction or no injuries,” the ministry said.
Earlier, the fall and explosion of a meteorite was recorded in Cuba. It caused a powerful shock wave, despite the fact that the celestial body did not reach the surface of the earth.
