Stoltenberg has been appointed head of the Central Bank of Norway for the next six years.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg was appointed head of the Central Bank of Norway on February 4. In the fall of 2022, Stoltenberg will step down from the post of Secretary General of the Alliance.

It should be noted that the current head of the Norwegian bank Eystein Olsen will leave his post on March 1, but Jens Stoltenberg will be able to start work only after completing his work as NATO Secretary General. It is known that his powers expire on September 30, 2022.
