Stoltenberg made a statement on Turkey after the terrorist attack in Ankara

The North Atlantic Alliance announced support for Turkey in the fight against terrorism.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced strongly condemned the attack on the Turkish Interior Ministry in Ankara and stressed that the Alliance supports Turkey in the fight against terrorism.

This is stated on the page of X Jens Stoltenberg.

“I strongly condemn today's terrorist attack on the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Ankara (…) NATO stands in solidarity with Turkey in the fight against terrorism,” Stoltenberg wrote.

NATO Secretary General also wished the two wounded police officers in Ankara a quick and full recovery.

Recall that on October 1, an explosion occurred near the buildings of parliament and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the capital of Turkey. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a terrorist attack during which one of the suicide bombers blew himself up. Another was neutralized by security forces.

Earlier in Turkey, there was an explosion at a company developing missile systems, there was a victim.
