< p>NATO Secretary General noted that Ukraine did not have enough air defense.
Ukraine has a chance of winning the war with Russian troops, as aid from allies is in the process of being transferred.
This was announced by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at an event in Berlin.
He emphasized that Ukraine received assistance much later than the allies promised.
“The United States has been unable to provide funding to support Ukraine for months, and European ammunition supplies are far below the levels they promised to provide. Such delays have consequences.”,” he said.
According to Stoltenberg, Ukraine lacked air defense, which allowed Russian missiles and drones to hit targets.
“But It’s not too late for Ukraine’s victory, because great support is already on the way,” Stoltenberg noted.
In particular, he recalled that the United States allocated more than $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, and Britain, Germany and the Netherlands announced new arms supplies.
“Now it is our duty to turn these obligations into real supplies of weapons and ammunition – and to do it quickly”, the Secretary General emphasized.< /p>
Recall that it became known that the United States secretly transferred long-range ATACMS to Ukraine back in March.
