NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held talks on Russian escalation on the Ukrainian border with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock and British Defense Minister Ben Wallace.
– We continue to study what the implications for our security are, and we will do everything necessary to guarantee the security and protection of all NATO allies, while at the same time we remain open to dialogue (with the Russian Federation – Ed.), – said in a message on Stoltenberg's page on social networks.
At the same time, in a statement on the US Department of State's page, it is reported that Blinken and Stoltenberg, among other things, discussed NATO's bilateral approach to Russia.
It is noted that the Alliance remains ready for a meaningful dialogue with the Russian Federation, not forgetting about unity to protect the allies.
Blinken also had a conversation with British Foreign Minister Liz Truss. Among their topics of discussion was & # 8220; a powerful and unified response to further Russian aggression against Ukraine & # 8221 ;.
