NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg invited Russia to sit down at the negotiating table on the deployment of missiles

If Russia is concerned about the deployment of missile weapons near its borders, it may start negotiations with the North Atlantic Alliance. This proposal was made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the meeting of the alliance's defense ministers, TASS reports.
“If Russia is concerned about the offensive missile weapons of the alliance, then it is necessary to sit down at the negotiating table and agree on their reduction,” Stoltenberg urged.
Earlier, the NATO Secretary General said that the North Atlantic Alliance has no plans to deploy offensive weapons in Ukraine. He also noted that the alliance performs defensive functions for the participating countries.
