Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko during a briefing on March 17 said that the situation with the provision of food in Ukraine remains under control.

He explained that wheat is stored for two years, vegetable oil – for five, corn – for a year and a half.

In addition, Ukrainian retail chains are provided with food products – in those regions where deliveries can be made.

Recall that Prime Minister Denys Shmygal earlier announced that Ukraine would buy grain and other food supplies in the amount of annual consumption by the whole country at the expense of the state budget.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced to Ukraine war. His troops shell and destroy infrastructure, residential areas and civilians. For this, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery and ballistic missiles are used.
