The summit will take place in July this year.
At the upcoming NATO Leaders' Summit in July Washington the allies will have a specific position regarding Ukraine's membership in NATO, its irreversibility and the roadmap for such membership.
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishina on the air of the United News telethon.
She noted that the summit should become a platform for making strategic decisions on the air defense of Ukraine, and relevant consultations are taking place at the bilateral level.
” We are just testing the Alliance to see if NATO is able to coordinate these efforts to close the Ukrainian skies either through bilateral solutions or more comprehensive solutions “, the official indicated.
Recall that in July the leaders of NATO member countries will gather in Washington for an anniversary summit dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Alliance.
