A pan-European approach is needed, they say in Tallinn.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Estonia< /strong> Margus Tsahknu said that it depends on Ukraine whether Tallinn will return home Ukrainians liable for military service.
He stated this in a commentary on “Channel 24”.
According to the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, Europe is waiting to understand what Ukraine needs.
“Therefore, there is no point in discussing separately what we can do. The main question is what Ukraine needs,” the diplomat emphasized.
Tsakhknu says that, first of all, a pan-European approach is needed – if Kyiv makes a corresponding request.
“First of all, I think that the question is that these people who came to Europe, are they registered with the military in Ukraine or not? So, let's see what will happen next “, the official emphasized.
Recall that Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski also made a statement about the stay of Ukrainians of military age abroad. Yes, according to him, there is a possibility of limiting benefits for Ukrainian men who evade conscription.
