The new contract, worth over $14 million, is valid for 6 months.
The US Department of Defense has agreed with SpaceX Elon Musk on extending the contract for the provision of Starlink Internet services in Ukraine until November 30.
Bloomberg writes about this.
Space Systems Command spokeswoman Bonnie Poindexter said in an official statement that the contract amount is $14.1 million. The contract provides for the provision of access to Starlink and the necessary equipment, as well as support for subscribers on agreed terms.
The total value of the Starlink contract is now around $40 million. This is only a small part of government contracts worth $2.5 billion that SpaceX won as part of the military satellite launch program.
