In Odessa, a 26-year-old guy stabbed his stepmother with a kitchen knife. For his deed he is facing up to fifteen years behind bars.
The incident took place in one of the houses of the Kievsky district of the city. The suspect lived there with his father and his new wife.

While the head of the family was sleeping, a domestic conflict arose between the woman and the stepson . In a fit of anger, the guy took up a knife and stabbed his stepmother two times in the neck.
The resulting injuries a 49-year-old woman died on the spot. The suspect understood what had happened, so decided to run home to his own mother.
The next morning, seeing his bloody wife in bed, the man called 102.
What the police say
An investigative-operational group together with criminologists left for the scene of the murder. On the same day, the unfortunate stepson was detained: he does not deny his involvement in the deed.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 115 (Intentional Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
If the guy is proven guilty, he can receive a sentence of imprisonment for a term of seven to fifteen years.
