It became known which autoimmune diseases will not allow taking a medical lead for vaccination against coronavirus.
In an interview with the media, the chief rheumatologist of St. Petersburg and professor of the North-Western State Medical University named after Mechnikov Pavel Murazov noted that such diseases are not a contraindication for vaccination.
The only thing worth considering is that vaccination should not be carried out during an exacerbation, or when the disease is in a progressive stage.
Pavel Murazov noted that if a person suffering from rheumatism does not receive drugs to suppress immunity and he does not have a high activity of the immune-inflammatory process, the vaccination will be extremely beneficial.
