Sputnik V, the Russian coronavirus vaccine, has been registered in Guinea, the second African country to approve the drug. Registration is mentioned on the website of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which, along with the Gamaleya Center, is the developer of the drug.
“The vaccine was registered under an emergency use authorization based on data from clinical trials” Sputnik V “in Russia,” the message says.

The republic received 55 trial doses of Sputnik V from Russia; the first batch arrived in the country on December 30. Guinean experts tested the product on people over 50 years old.
