Ski tourists are staying out of Lech this year.
The sports and fashion trade from Lech is insolvent. The reason for this is the massive drop in sales since the first lockdown. The restructuring process is intended to enable the company to continue to exist in coordination with the creditors.
According to a broadcast, the over-indebtedness is around 12 million euros.
Managing director Olivia Strolz wants to reopen at least some of the headquarters in Lech for the Christmas holidays. Further branches are to follow if possible and depending on the development of the tourist winter season.
Strolz GmbH operates a total of seven branches in Lech, Zürs and Stuben. The main business is in the winter season from November to April.
According to its own information, the company usually makes around 30 percent of its annual turnover in December, mainly with tourists from Germany, the Netherlands or Great Britain. About 60 of the 70 employees are affected by the current layoffs.
