In Spielberg they are hoping for a full house for the Austrian GP
With the latest announcement by the Austrian federal government that it will lift the spectator restrictions at sporting events from July 2021, all the gates of the Red Bull Ring will open wide at the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Austria in compliance with the 3G rule. At the Ring you can expect a practically full house, because fans can now secure standing room and fresh tickets for additional grandstands for the race weekend from July 2nd to 4th “at Spielberg”.
Ticket sales for the Styrian Grand Prix (June 25-27), which will take place one week before the new regulations come into force, will continue as before for the time being in accordance with the statutory provisions for June (maximum 3,000 spectators). For the race instead of Turkey, both Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) and Minister of Sport Werner Kogler (Greens) have announced that they will try to obtain an exemption for spectators in compliance with the necessary safety criteria.
Information for both races and tickets are available at
