In the European Championship game between England and Croatia (1-0) at London's Wembley Stadium, a spectator was seriously injured on Sunday. As a spokesman announced after the game at the request of the German Press Agency, the person fell from a grandstand shortly after the whistle. After initial medical treatment on site, the person was brought to a hospital in “critical condition”.
According to the Evening Standard newspaper, a man fell from a rank and fell onto the seats and stone floor on the floor below. The spokesman announced that the incident would be investigated with UEFA.
